What you may use

• Your own original assets.
• Assets licensed for your intended use, provided you follow the license.
• Public-domain material or material you are otherwise legally permitted to use.

What you may not use

• Copyrighted characters, artwork, music, logos, or recordings without permission or another valid legal basis.
• Someone's face, voice, private information, or identity in a deceptive or harmful way.
• Content that is illegal, threatening, exploitative, hateful, sexually explicit, or designed to harass.
• Malware, hidden executable content, or files intended to disrupt the service.

You are responsible

You are responsible for checking licenses and obtaining consent before uploading, publishing, recording, or sharing an asset. The ability to use an asset in WeSimSims does not mean WeSimSims has cleared the rights for you.

Reporting a concern

If you own rights to material used through WeSimSims and believe it is being misused, send the work's location, your contact information, an explanation of your rights, and the requested action through our Contact page.
